QTA honours industry members
MONTREAL, (May 5, 2004) — The Quebec Trucking Association recently handed out awards for both the province’s “Personality of the Year,” and the Volvo Trucks Canada Driver of the Year.
The QTA Personality of the Year Award went to Marc Brouillette, president of Drummondville, Que.-based Transport SAS, which was recently acquired by TransForce. He is also president of the Quebec Trucking Association.
Gilles Arcand, of Ste-Catherine-based tanker company Transport Audec, was named the Volvo Trucks Canada Driver of the Year. He has 33 years of experience, and 3 million accident-free miles from behind the wheel.
