Most electrical cable problems begin at the ends. But changing plug ends can present a whole new set of concerns as you fumble with wires and screws. Phillips Industries says its QCP “quick connect” plug assembly for its green electrical cables makes changing plug ends as simple as changing a light bulb. Both ends contain an easy-to-change insert with a solid brass pin connection. All you have to do is unscrew the setscrew, unplug the Quick Connect Insert, plug a new one in, and screw the setscrew back in. The disposable, replaceable cartridge saves on repair costs and downtime costs, and its nylon housing resists chemicals, fuels, grime, and the effects of severe temperature swings.
