Raising the bar
If you run a rear-discharge tanker, there’s a good chance you use a raised-centre axle, and now Hendrickson has extended the benefits of its INTRAAX integrated trailer suspension system to this type of setup. The suspension weighs about 100 pounds less than previous models yet has stronger axle connections and is generally more durable overall, the company said. Hendrickson will offer 23,000- and 25,000-pound capacity models for 77.5- and 71.5-inch tracks in top-mount configurations and a range of ride heights from 13.5 to 19 inches. Options include automatic tire inflation, long-life wheel-end packages, and several braking systems. Call
