Robert joins fleet management firm’s advisory board
LONGUEUIL, Que. — An information technology firm for trucking fleets wants to hear from one of Canada’s most outspoken truckers.
Claude Robert of Robert Transport and president of the Canadian Trucking Alliance has been named to the Advisory Board of Effective Control Trucking LLC. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Media City Corp.
ECT provides fully integrated custom solutions for trucking and fleet management.
In partnership with BioCognisafe, the company also provides The Sleep Detection System (SDS) — an integrated drowsiness detection system that monitors the waking state of drivers in real time.
“Claude Robert is a strong and vocal advocate of safety and efficiency within the trucking industry, greatly respected and admired, the best ally Effective Control Trucking could ask for,” said ECT President Raphael Huppe.
Huppe says the hours that Robert still spends behind the wheel brings great “credibility to the industry, strong insight and understanding on what the drivers go through.”
