Thermo King has begun is now marketing Kryptonite locks, security cables, chains and ground anchors at its dealerships nationwide.

U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) officials have recommended tighter security within the food transportation industry. The recommendation was issued to food producers, transporters and retailers, and certain measures were listed to minimize the risk of tampering or other criminal or terrorist actions. Since then, the Transportation Security Administration, has said it is considering a rule to lock up all trucks and trailers while on the road.
