Sequel to hazard perception video introduced

J.J. Keller & Associates
J. J. Keller & Associates has introduced Hazard Perception Challenge II, its second interactive video program designed to capture drivers’ attention and enlist their active participation in building hazard-perception skills.

The program teaches hazard perception through a series of brief scenarios – each followed by a “what-did-you-see/what-would-you-do” challenge question. Drivers are given limited time to think about the scenarios presented and record their answers on the test sheets provided before moving on to the next challenge.

The scenarios cover various types of driving, including highway driving, adverse weather, backing, passing, distracted driving, city driving, night driving, common vehicle maneuvers, merging, and security.

The 60-minute video is broken into five segments of roughly 12 minutes each, so training can be presented in a single session or spread out over several. Along with the video, the program includes a trainer’s guide that provides practical tips, training techniques, presentation options, and an answer key that covers each scenario, and also includes 10 driver test sheets, 10 driver certificates, and 10 driver skill cards.
