Seven Minutes to Safety
Compliance information supplier J. J. Keller & Associates introduced three new “Extreme 7-Minute Solutions” videos, providing tractor-trailer drivers with fast-paced, refresher training on critical safety topics.
The videos — entitled “Road Work,” “Mountains,” and “Danger” — blend graphics, 3D animation, and commentary from drivers and other transport professionals to deliver practical tips and techniques for handling tough conditions. A tip-filled instructor’s bulletin and 10 driver skill cards accompany each video.
“Road Work” reviews how to manage vehicles in and around road construction areas, recommends precautions, and highlights special hazards to be on the lookout for. “Mountains” covers the dangers of mountain driving, including ascending and descending steep grades, and the added danger of inclement weather, while “Danger” looks at dangerous situations drivers face while not driving, such as violence, theft, and solicitations.
The entire three-video set is available for $169 US. The videos are also available separately for $69 each.
