Shell Multigrade Meet CI-4 Standard
Shell Canada has reformulated its Shell Rotella T Multigrade 15W-40 to meet the CI-4 American Petroleum Institute standards for heavy-duty diesel engines. The new oil exceeds the requirements of Mack EO-N Premium Plus and Cummins CES 20078, among others, and is designed for engines that use exhaust gas recirculation to meet more stringent emissions targets. It keeps the same quality and price that make Rotella T ideal for use in pre-EGR engines, too, the company says.
