Smith named general manager of Con-Way Canada Express
ANN ARBOR, Mich. (Feb. 13, 2001) – Con-Way Transportation Services (CON-WAY) announced the appointment of Richard C. Smith as general manager of Con-Way Canada Express, a less-than-truckload freight carrier based in Mississauga, Ont.
Smith has been with CON-WAY since 1995, most recently as a service center manager at the company’s Hamilton, Ont., terminal. Smith will manage the daily operations and sales efforts of all the company’s 27 Canadian service centers.
