Southern Alberta Freightliner dealerships sold
CALGARY — Calgary Freightliner and Freightliner of Lethbridge have a new owner.
Greg Stahl recently says he recently purchased the two dealerships from Doug and Carole Goodwin.
Calgary Freightliner and Freightliner of Lethbridge are now officially named New West Freightliner, effective immediately.
Stahl has been involved in the trucking industry for most of his life. His got his start in a family owned Cummins distributorship in Alberta.
There he gained experience in operations, sales, marketing and accounting functions. But most of his corporate experience has been customer focused.
Later he managed a call center for Cummins, which specifically handled the unscheduled repair logistics for many major fleet customers as well as over 26,000 owner / operators.
He has been involved with Freightliner family since 1997 when he became the aftermarket account manager at Cummins. He was later promoted to the lead sales manager and moved to freightliner’s home base of Portland to, as he says, "better serve his accounts."
"I look forward to serving the many customers I’ve gotten to know personally and professionally, and getting to know new Freightliner customers as I move into this business," Stahl says.
"Doug and Carole Goodwin have been the Freightliner dealer in this trade area for many years. They have done a great job building a strong, customer-oriented business and have constructed an excellent team at the dealership."
