STA offers 5 Gs in scholarships to employees’ kids
REGINA — The Saskatchewan Trucking Association along with the Associate Trades Conference and Highway Agencies Ltd. are making available $5,000 in scholarships to grade 12 graduates and mature students of association members’ employees.
The STA says applications will be available March 27 and must be received by the association no later than June 30, with grade 12 final marks to be submitted as soon as possible thereafter.
There are seven scholarships available.
To qualify students must have completed grade 12, or will do so by June 30th, or must be attending post-secondary training. Students must be direct family members of employees of the association membership, including independent contract drivers.
Scholarships are for tuition and are paid direct to the post-secondary education facility.
