Stock electrical cords expand and contract
Sometimes you need a little more length from an electrical cord, sometimes a little less. Whitney Blake offers both in its line of stock Koiled Kord brand retractable cables (the company also makes cables to order). The light (UL-type SVO), medium (UL-type SJO), and heavy-duty (UL-type SO) cables range up to 20 feet when fully extended and retract to as short as two feet. The light and medium-duty cords are CSA-certified and have a maximum voltage of 300. The heavy-duty cords–more suited to trucking applications–are UL-listed and have a max voltage of 600; they’re available as 10-, 12, 14-, and 18-gauge wires.
