The Heli-Coil Chase ’em Back Stud Repair kit from Emhart Fastening Teknologies is a wrap-around thread chaser that makes it easy to restore damaged stud threads to like-new condition. A unique hinge allows the thread repair tool to be wrapped around the undamaged threads at the base of the stud and backed off to reform the damaged threads. It also eliminates the need to remove the stud, saving man-hours and reducing repair costs.
