Sweet seats
A truck driver may be confined to a chair for hours at a stretch, but he rarely sits still. The physical demands of driving a truck mean he’s constantly moving, shifting, and leaning this way and that. His seat has an important job: to help him keep the blood flowing and reduce pressure on his spine and joints.
That’s the aim of Bostrom Seating’s new “C-Series” truck seats. There are three models, each designed for sensible ergonomics and comfort by providing better lumbar support and improved circulation. One, however, adds style to the mix: the Wide Ride XC.
Bostrom describes the Wide Ride XC as “the ultimate in comfort and luxury.” It comes standard with an infinitely adjustable three-chamber lumbar support; extended adjustable armrests; a new seat cushion with high-density foam and adjustable cushion length; and air-powered Automatic Seat Leveling system. These seats feature 9-1/2 inches of fore-aft adjustment.
The Freedom XC and Liberty XC models round out the C-Series line, with many of the same features as the Wide Ride XC without the higher price.
