Synergistic Systems Goes Running on Rims

Synergistic Systems has modified its Synergy Dispatch Lite Line application to run on RIM 950 and 957 wireless handheld devices. The Lite Line is marketed as an affordable option for LTL carriers ready to use real-time data communications in the management of their fleet. It provides all the basics of a full version of Synergy Dispatch, including a complete P&D route summary with pickup details; real-time pickup calls from dispatch; the ability to capture detailed pro information on pickups; real-time P&D status for stops; and real-time messaging.

RIM 950 and 957 devices, made by Research In Motion (www.rim.com), are designed to remain on and continuously connected to a 900MHz Mobitex wireless network, allowing you and your drivers to send and receive text messages from the palm of your hand. Creating and retrieving information is simple using the keyboard, thumb-operated trackwheel, and easy-to-read backlit screen. The Synergistic software can then take that data and help you use it to manage your fleet.
