Szymczak to lead logistics planning for Delphi aftermarket business
TROY, Mich. (Nov. 2, 2001) — Delphi Automotive Systems yesterday named Ken Szymczak general director of supply chain management for its North American aftermarket business.
His appointment is effective Nov. 19.
Szymczak most recently served as aftermarket business line executive for Delphi’s energy and chassis systems unit. He began his career with General Motors Corp. in 1970, and has held a variety of purchasing, planning and material management positions. In his new role, Szymczak will be responsible for managing supply-chain activities on a global basis.
