Taylor-made Refrigerators

Taylor Made Environmental has introduced three new models of Tundra refrigerators designed specifically for Peterbilt and Kenworth trucks. They include two front-opening units and a top-loading portable refrigerator/freezer box.

The T18P and T22P front-door units have 1.8 and 2.2 cubic feet of interior space, respectively. Both come with a separate enclosed freezer compartment with an interior door to provide better temperature control. They’re sized to fit the standard opening for easy retrofit.

The TPD23AC portable unit has 2.3 cubic feet of interior space and can be run on AC or DC power through a built-in converter. It comes with a digital thermostat control, which can be set to operate as a refrigerator or freezer.

All three use quiet Danfoss compressors designed to operate on DC voltages. They have a unique forced-air ventilation system in the condensing unit to prevent failures from overheating, while low-voltage and high-temperature cutouts protect the compressor from damage.

These units are being sold through Peterbilt and Kenworth dealers nationwide under the PACCAR Parts program.
