Three-peat for TodaysTrucking.com
TORONTO — For the third consecutive year this website has been honored with a prestigious Kenneth R. Wilson Award for Best Website by the Canadian Business Press.
TodaysTrucking.com took home a Silver award in the category, meaning the site has placed in the official top two showings each year since the award’s inception. TT.com won Gold last year and Silver in 2005 — when the Best Website category made its first appearance at the KRWs.
Today’s Trucking’s sister publication highwaySTAR was also awarded a Silver in the Best Profile of a Person category.
The two were the only transportation-related publications to receive a KRW award this year.
Today’s Trucking magazine’s Rolf Lockwood also got a Top Five honorable mention for his story “Hybrids, hybrids everywhere.”
The KRW Awards, presented annually in Toronto by the Canadian Business Press, represent the best of trade and business magazine journalism in Canada.
Since 1994, Newcom’s trucking publications have been awarded with eight Gold, nine Silver, and 13 Top Five honorable mentions.
According to Masthead magazine — a publication covering the magazine publishing industry — Today’s Trucking ranks 26th among the top 102 magazines in Canada (including both business trade and consumer titles) for total award placement per nomination at presentations across the nation. It also places 4th overall among all business trade publications.
