Timken rolls out wheel and driveline products
CANTON, Ohio (Sept. 5, 2001) — The Timken Co. has introduced a comprehensive line of heavy-duty wheel and driveline products to meet its customers’ needs for a top-quality, full-line supplier. The Performance Plus program for heavy-duty consists exclusively of bearings, seals, and related products that meet or exceed OE specifications.
“Over the years, our products have performed mile after mile in support of the competitive over-the-road carrier,” said Jack Cameron, general manager of the company’s automotive aftermarket operations in North America. “The Performance Plus Program fills the category our distributor and fleet customers have asked for from a single supplier.”
The full line carries the familiar Timken brand. The full line of bearings, seals, kits and components includes Timken tapered roller bearings, Timken MileMate matched wheel bearing sets, Timken Wheel Boss wheel-end systems and components, DT Components differential and transmission rebuild kits, and related parts.
