Today’s Trucking Launches New Website
TORONTO — Spreading information and ideas: it’s pretty much what any writer or editor gets into this business for.
More specifically, here at Today’s Trucking, we always ask: will it save or make the reader money? Will this information help them, in some way?
Those are the first two questions we ask before starting anything at this shop. That’s it.
How we deliver that information is important, too. The less mucking around you need to do to get the information you need, the better for all of us.
It’s why we’ve recently made some changes to todaystrucking.com.
The first thing you’ll notice is a different navigation — hopefully you’ll be able to find your way around better. Plus, you’ll be able to sort and share the stories easier, should you so choose.
Perhaps the coolest thing is that we’ve kicked off a new video series where you’ll see writers like Jim Park test drive the latest and greatest trucks.
We now have blogs from all the editors ,coupled with a few special voices from the industry — expect that to grow over the coming weeks.
And our Industry Stats section? We changed that, too. You can now take a look at Class 8 truck sales on a colorful, interactive pie graph. Plus, we’ve added diesel prices.
We’ll still be tweaking the website here and there as we go, but take it for a drive and let us know how it handles.
See you at Truck World.
