Today’s Trucking publisher teams up with ethnic truck show producer
TORONTO — Newcom Business Media, the producer of this website and Today’s Trucking magazine, has teamed up with Road Today Media Group as a media partner to promote the Road Today Truck Show in Brampton May 30-31, 2009.
The event, which will take place at the Powerade Centre in Brampton, Ont., will include plenty of activities including an indoor and outdoor trade show, show & shine competition, job fair, educational seminars, family entertainment, loads of ethnic food and a lot more.
“Our magazines (Today’s Trucking, highwaySTAR, Truck and Trailer) reach out to the trucking industry at large," says Joe Glionna, general manager, Newcom. "The Road Today Truck Show is trying to bridge the gap between a cultural segment of the industry and the manufacturers and suppliers for whom culture doesn’t make a difference. Hopefully we can help them accomplish this. We have known the Road Today group since they first started publishing and we are happy to continue working with them."
Added Manan Gupta, publisher, Road Today: "Road Today and Newcom share common values and goals for the benefit of trucking industry stakeholders. Newcom’s expertise in producing industry recognized magazines and trade shows would be a great advantage for the Road Today Truck Show."
Entry to the show is free. Interested visitors can pre-register in advance and avoid long lineups. Log on to show website at www.roadtodaytruckshow.com for more info.
Exhibit space is limited and filling up fast. Organizers are encouraging potential exhibitors to book their space at the earliest by contacting Road Today office at 905 487 1320 or by email at truckshow@roadtoday.com.
