todaystrucking.com expands truck sales statistics
TORONTO (June 11, 2002) — todaystrucking.com, the web site affiliated with Today’s Trucking magazine, has expanded its truck sales statistics to include historical information for individual original equipment manufacturers dating back to 1999.
The site, which lists class 5-8 sales and market share in Canada and class 6-8 sales and share in the United States, also has contact information, links to online dealer locators, and recent news headlines about each OEM.
Canadian figures are supplied by the Canadian Vehicle Manufacturers Association.
“This is an interesting year for truck sales in North America,” said Today’s Trucking editor Stephen Petit. “We want to give the sales figures some historical relevance. Besides, we compile these stats for the printed magazine. We have the information — let’s make it useful.”
