Trailcon Leasing hosting free barbecue all week

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Trailcon Leasing is celebrating National Trucking Week by serving up lunch each day this week.

Starting today, Trailcon Leasing will be providing visitors with hamburgers, sausages, hot dogs and soft drinks, regardless of whether or not they work in the trucking industry.

"Although we are in an area populated mainly by firms in the transportation industry, we will be pleased to serve anyone who cares to stop and join us," says Trailcon president Alan Boughton. "This is our way of reminding everyone that it is national trucking week in Canada and that trucks share the nation’s roads with cars and the general public.

Boughton goes on to say the free barbecue is a way to "foster some goodwill between truckers and the rest of the drivers."

The barbecue also coincides with the company’s 10th anniversary, which is fast approaching, and is an opportunity to thank Trailcon’s customers, suppliers and employees.
