Trailcon Leasing places $15.7 million trailer order with Manac
MISSISSAUGA (June 7, 2002) — Trailcon Leasing said it will acquire 187 new dry-freight vans and refuse trailers from Canam Manac Group for $15.7 million.
The order includes 140 garbage units for Wilson Logistics, 47 transfer trailers that Trailcon North America will use to haul solid waste for the City of Las Vegas, and 30 dry freight vans for the Great Atlantic & Pacific Corp. of Canada (A&P).
Trailcon Leasing and Wilson Logistics are both part of the Wilson Group of Companies. Trailcon Leasing is based in Mississauga, Ont.
The order brings Trailcon Leasing’s fleet of trailers and intermodal equipment to more than 4000 units representing an investment of more than $100 million.
