TransCore Launches Truck-to-Load Ratio Analytics Tool
TORONTO, ON — TransCore Link Logistics is launching a truck-to-load ratio operations planning tool at Truck World, which will allow carriers and freight brokers to access real-time and historical data on total truck and load volumes, as well as ratios in specific areas.
“The explosion of load volumes, changes in capacity demands, and currency fluctuations observed since the end of last year have dramatically impacted the buying and selling rates,” says Claudia Milicevic, senior director and general manager of TransCore Link Logistics.
“Posting Index gives our customers enhanced technology that’s easy to use and assists in making sound business decisions on where to grow their business, or change their lanes quickly to respond to these fluctuations,” Milicevic says.
The Posting Index can search by geographic area, equipment type, and Truck-to-Load (TL) versus Less-than-Truck Load (LTL) shipments and trucks.
The tool is built on the Loadlink freight matching system and captures 14 million loads and trucks posted annually on its network of over 5,000 carriers, private fleets, load brokers, freight forwarders and owner operators, according to TransCore.
