TransForce closes Thibodeau deal

MONTREAL — Thibodeau Transport’s 1500 pieces of equipment will now display that familiar blue swoosh across the side of trailers and tractor doors.

TransForce Income Fund sayss it has completed the previously announced acquisition of privately held Thibodeau Group of Companies.

Thibodeau is a less-than-truckload and truckload carrier that is headquartered in Portneuf, Que., operating mostly between Quebec, Ontario and the eastern United States.

The addition of Thibodeau strengthens TransForce’s existing LTL and truckload operations, giving TransForce greater capacity in these segments in Eastern Canada, says TransForce.
