Transport Robert wins coveted TCA award
ORLANDO, Fla. — Robert Transport of Boucherville, Que. joins Canadian firm Bison Transport as two of North America’s safest carriers as chosen by the U.S.-based Truckload Carriers Association.
Robert was given first prize for 2005 safest fleet in the category of 50 million miles and more at TCA’s annual banquet in Orlando, Fla.

The professionalism of our drivers and the quality of work of our mechanics supported by our trainers in prevention show Robert Transport’s commitment towards the Security and Prevention that permits to preserve the integrity of the client’s merchandise,” said VP marketing and Public Relations Jean-Robert Lessard in a Robert Transport press release.
With 1,200 tractors, Robert Transport travels more than 95 million miles annually across Canada and U.S.
Earlier this month, Today’s Trucking reported that bison won the same award for the category of companies operating over 25 million miles annually.
Companies are judged for their stringent standards in their overall safety programs, on and off highway, as well as their commitment to improving safety on U.S. highways.
