Truck-Lite’s new strobes

Truck-Lite
Truck-Lite’s new Model 60 Strobing LED lamps offer users a choice of strobe frequency and viewing angles. Users can select between dual and quad flashing patterns by altering the way each lamp is wired. The strobes can also be connected through double-throw swtches, allowing operators to alternate between patterns.

Users can also select the field of view they desire, by ordering a metalized or nonmetalized
reflector version. The nonmetalized reflector lamps have a wide field of view, similar to ordinary Truck-Lite Series 60 LED lamps, while the other strobes incorporate special metalized reflectors that concentrate the light in a narrower, more intensely focused pattern.

Designed to be installed and operated either vertically or horizontally, the six-inch oval Model 60 Strobe fits standard trim and protection rings, as well as other existing 60 Series components and accessories.

The company says the Model 60 Strobe also provides all the advantages offered by other Truck-Lite LEDs, including: Lamp life rated at 100,000 hours; virtually instantaneous glow time; and superior resistance to shock and vibration.

All electronics, including the diodes, are sealed in epoxy to withstand the severest road shock and vibration and prevent moisture from reaching the circuits. The Model 60 Strobe lamp, designed with an integral flange and built-in lens fits snuggly to the vehicle’s body, lowering the risk of damage or theft.
