Truck World adds two seminars to line-up

TORONTO (Sept. 4, 2000) — The Ontario Trucking Association has added two more seminars to its lineup at Truck World 2000, a trade show taking place Sept. 14-16 at the National Trade Centre Exhibition Place in Toronto.

An hour-long seminar on drug and alcohol testing is scheduled for Sept. 14 at 2 p.m. and Sept. 15 at 12:45 p.m. Another, on hiring dispatchers and truck drivers, will be held Sept. 14 at 1 p.m.; Sept. 15 at 11 a.m.; and Sept. 16 at 11:15 a.m.

Other seminars taking place during the show focus on business skills for owner-operators, an introduction to the International Registration Plan, proposals for new hours of service regulations, and safety ratings.

All of the seminars are free and no pre-registration is required. A complete lineup is posted at the Truck World web site.
