Truck World is here!
TORONTO — Looking for a job in trucking? Could you use some valuable business tips from industry experts? Or do you just feel like kicking some tires on some brand new, chromed up iron?
If you’re in Toronto or plan on passing through over the next three days, be sure to stop at the International Centre near the airport for Truck World 2010, Canada’s largest, official trucking show and exhibition.
The show, owned and operated by the publisher of Today’s Trucking, Newcom Business Media, opens its doors today, April 15th and runs through to Saturday, April 17.
And show organizers expect the vocational expo to draw at least 50 major exhibitors.
This year, running concurrently with Truck World is the Vocational Truck & Equipment Expo. Endorsed by the Canadian Transportation Equipment Association (CTEA), the expo has a dedicated section of the International Centre and we expect it to feature about 50 major exhibitors.
Over the next couple days Truck World will offer education seminars on sleep apnea and calculating costs per mile for owner-ops.
They’ll also be a career fair, developed by the Canadian Trucking Human Resources Council and, back by popular demand, a Classic Trucks showcase.
Plus there’ll be prizes galore given away — from free trucker hats to TVs to a brand new Can-am Spider. http://spyder.brp.com/en-CA/
The event will attract 20,000 industry professionals from across Canada and the US. They will meet and do business with hundreds of exhibitors on a spectacular 300,000-plus-sq-ft exhibit floor.
