Trucking Vet Clayton Gording Joins Reimer Associates

WINNIPEG — Clayton Gording has joined Reimer Associates Inc. as vice president, announced Reimer Associates today.

Gording, who recently retired as president of YRC Reimer in Winnipeg, brings with him 45 years of senior management experience in transportation. "I think with my contacts and experience I can bring some value to Reimer Associates," Gording said in an interview with todaystrucking.com.

The move to the respected staffing firm is a natural one for Gording. "I have known Clayton personally for 30 years and I am proud to have him join our team," said Ross Reimer.

"I retired from Reimer Express back in June, and did a bunch of construction work out at our cottage, which was great," Gording said from his office in Winnipeg. "But, as winter comes along, you very much feel a void in the connections you had over the years and miss being involved in the industry — I just felt that I needed to get back into it."

And we’re glad he did.
