U.S. Xpress chief to kick-off Truck World

TORONTO, (Feb. 19, 2004) — Organizers for Canada’s upcoming national truck show have announced that the event will be kicked-off with a VIP breakfast featuring Patrick E. Quinn, the co-founder of North American truckload giant U.S. Xpress Enterprises.

Mr. Quinn’s presentation will mark the official start of Truck World 2004, which is set to take place at Toronto’s International Centre on April 22- 24. Tickets for the VIP Breakfast are $50.00 per ticket and $400.00 for tables of 8.

Mr. Quinn has spent his entire professional career in the trucking industry, launching in 1985 U.S. Xpress — a renowned ‘early adopter’ of new technologies and pioneer in safety advances. Quinn is also vice-chairman of the American Trucking Associations, vice-chairman of the ATA Litigation Center, and a past chairman of the Truckload Carriers Association.

Truck World — which is presented by Today’s Trucking’s parent company New Communications Group — is Canada’s largest truck show, featuring the latest in product design, technology, specialty equipment, support materials, and services for the trucking
industry.
