Used Truck Association offers training programs for sales staff
INDIANAPOLIS (Oct. 30, 2001) — The Used Truck Association (UTA) will hold a series of training programs next year to help sales staff and managers improve the way they market and sell used equipment.
“One of the UTA’s goals is to fill the training void within the used-truck industry,” explained UTA director David A. Kolman. “Our training programs have been created expressly to provide those involved in the used truck marketplace with the necessary skills, tools, and resources to become more productive and successful.”
The association will offer three courses:
Professional Used Truck Management, a 2-1/2-day course, is set for Jan. 16-18, 2002, in Houston, Texas, and Nov. 13-15 in Greensboro, N.C. Tuition is $625 US.
Used Truck Selling Skills, a 1-1/2-day course, is scheduled for March 7-8 in Atlanta, and July 11-12 in Chicago. Tuition is $350.
Fundamentals of Used Truck Sales, a four-day course, will be held May 8-11 in Cleveland and Sept. 11-14 in Philadelphia. Tuition is $645
