Volvo dealers to offer Intra aftermarket parts

The IntraUSA Group announced that it has reached agreement with Volvo Trucks to catalog and distribute Intra products to Volvo Truck dealers throughout North America.

According to the company, Volvo dealers will now offer three aftermarket variations of Intra’s Low-Voltage Disconnect (LVD) and Intra Jump-Start Prevention Kit products.

Intra’s LVD allows truck drivers to utilize electrical appliances on the road while preserving enough battery power to start the engine. Using patented Intra power management technology, the LVD monitors battery levels, automatically disconnecting non-critical power loads when battery voltage reaches critical levels. According to Intra, the device significantly reduces the need for jumpstarts and extends the life of costly replacement items, such as starters and batteries.

The Jump-Start Prevention Kit is designed for truck fleets and dealers with dormant or standing vehicles. Intra says it monitors battery levels and automatically disconnects power when battery voltage reaches a critical level. Like the LVD, this product also reduces costly jumpstarts and battery replacement.
