Volvo names Kress vp of sales
GREENSBORO, N.C. (June 17, 2002) — Volvo Trucks North America has named former Mack Trucks executive Scott Kress senior vice-president, sales. He replaces Bill Dawson, who will be named senior vice-president, customer satisfaction, upon the retirement of Harold Wiegel effective July 1.
For the past 22 years, Kress has held a variety of sales assignments for Mack. Most recently he was vice-president, business development and fleet sales.
Dawson, a former Volvo Trucks Canada executive, was named vice-president of sales in September 2001.
Mack Trucks and Volvo Trucks North America are both owned by Volvo AB of Sweden.
