Wakefield Canada names marketing director
TORONTO — From the order desk to marketing director of Wakefield Canada, Anthony Stadelman has come a long way in a short time.
Started with Castrol Canada (predecessor to Wakefield) in 1993 as a marketing clerk, Stadelman scaled the corporate ladder serving later as marketing assistant, associate product manager, product manager and trade marketing manager before being promoted to marketing manager in January of 2002.
During his tenure, the Castrol brand has risen from 7 percent in 1995 to almost 18 in 2006.
Stadelman is part of the team in place during the transition to Wakefield’s stewardship of the Castrol brand in Canada.
“Wakefield with its Canadian ownership, local focus and a commitment to growth provides an exciting and unique opportunity,” he said.
