Warren boss given entrepreneur award
REXTON, N.B. — Outgoing chair of the Atlantic Provinces Trucking Association, Vaughn Sturgeon, has been honored with a business award at Enterprise Kent’s 25th Annual Gala for local entrepreneurs and citizens.
Sturgeon is president of Rexton, N.B.-based Warren Transport, which was named business of the year in the small and medium-sized category. Started in the village as a concrete business 40 years ago, Warren has become a major Atlantic for-hire carrier, with 250 employees.
