Webb Wheel names aftermarket boss
CULLMAN, Ala. — Wolfgang Winzer has joined Webb Wheel Products as the new president of the company’s Aftermarket Business Unit.
He comes to Webb Wheel from Siemens VDO Automotive Corp. North America where he was vice-president and general manger of the Public Transport Telematics Business Unit.
During his tenure with Siemens, he improved profitability substantially and organized the business as a stand-alone entity focused on retailers, WD and major Spec OEM. He also helped broaden the company’s product line and worked with customers to expand product categories that would meet the demands of their demographic base.
In his new capacity, Winzer is expected to draw on his past experience in organizing and managing an international automotive aftermarket company.
Webb Wheel Products manufactures hubs, brake drums, and rotors for medium and heavy-duty trucks, trailers and buses.
