Where rubber meets the information highway: Michelin launches new Web site

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Michelin Americas Truck Tires is taking its pitch to tire buyers onto the Internet with a Web site that highlights its product line and dealers.

The site offers comprehensive product and technical data with an emphasis on interactivity, including a place where you can enter information about your truck operation and find out which tires best meet your needs, a dealer locator complete with maps and directions, and technical data guides you can sort according to wheel position and application and then download to your own hard drive.

“We designed www.michelintruck.com with our customers in mind,” said Randy Clark, director of marketing for Michelin’s truck tire division. “It’s user-friendly and highly interactive, and provides product, technical, and marketing information at the touch of a button.”
