Windsor Workshop 2002 to focus on fuels
OTTAWA (March 13, 2002) — Advances in fuels will be the focus of the Windsor Workshop, the annual conference on transportation energy policies and trends sponsored by Natural Resources Canada and the U.S. Dept. of Energy.
The three-day event, which takes place May 13-15, will cover trends in transportation-related fuels and emissions policies, specifically alternative fuel technologies.
The FleetSmart office of Natural Resources Canada will present a full-day workshop for commercial fleet managers on May 14, offering ideas to develop a fuel-management plan, said Lynda Harvey, a manager with the FleetSmart program.
The Windsor Workshop has been held on a regular basis since 1983, and serves as a venue for specialists from the automotive industry, governments, and academia to discuss concerns and share the latest information in the field of transportation technologies.
