Winners show and shine in Fergus
FERGUS, Ont. (July 22) – The curtains on the 2001 Fergus Truck Show came to a close earlier this evening as Steve and Mary Tool of Droh Inc. were presented with their fourth and most prestigious Show & Shine award for People’s Choice Best Truck of the Show. The couple also took home honors for Best ’97-’98 Working Truck, the Best Mural, and Best Displayed Truck Area. Mike Duffy of Mike Duffy’s Trucking was the runner-up for Best Truck.
Some other winners included: Dennis Bradbury for Best Owner-Operator’s Working Truck; Brent Kurtz of Brian Kurtz Trucking for Best Working Conventional Without a Sleeper; Ray Leslie of Lain TSPT for Best Working Cabover, and Steven Lowe of Heritage Truck Lines for Best Pre 2001 Company Working Truck.
Brian Kurtz of Brian Kurtz Trucking won Best Fleet (3-5 displayed together) and Task Transport won the same award for more than six trucks displayed together.
