XM-Ready Radio

The SKYFi receiver for the XM satellite radio service is small enough to take anywhere, including your truck cab: it integrates easily with your existing in-vehicle stereo with the purchase of an adapter kit. Developed by Delphi Products and Services and XM Radio, SKYFi is sold at major audio equipment retailers in the United States (the suggested retail price is $130 US for the receiver, $70 for the in-vehicle adapter).

Based in Washington, D.C., XM Radio offers 100 channels of music, news, talk, sports, comedy, and children’s programming for a monthly subscription fee, about $10 US. Although XM’s satellite signal reaches into portions of Canada, XM is currently only licensed to provide service to the United States.
