Yokohama Tire for Trash, Dump Trucks
Yokohama Tire’s new MY507A tire has an anti-chip compound to withstand puncture-prone environments off-road as well as on the highway. “The new compound means a dump truck or concrete mixer can better handle the hazards of a construction site, and a garbage truck can better manage the most treacherous landfill,” says John Cooney, director of commercial sales for Yokohama.
The tire design features high-strength belt construction for durability and funnel-shaped grooves and a wide block-type rib treads for better traction. Stone ejectors dislodge rocks and minimize casing damage.
The MY507A is available in 385/65R22.5, with other sizes available later this year. The tire has a six-year limited warranty through three retreads.
