ZF names Habersack to head North American operations

CINCINNATI, Ohio (Oct. 3,. 2001) — Driveline component maker ZF Friedrichshafen AG yesterday named Bernd Habersack president North American operations.

Habersack had been responsible for the company’s chassis technology division. He will continue this responsibility within his new post.

Jim Stacey, named chief operating officer at ZF Lemforder Corp. earlier this year, will manage ZF corporate offices in Florence, Ky., and the ZF Technical Center in Northville, Mich. He will report to Habersack.

The global ZF Group, the world’s largest independent specialist for driveline and chassis technology, is headquartered in Friedrichshafen, Germany. With sales of $ 1.2 billion in 1999 and sales of $ 1.8 billion in 2000, the ZF Group in North America expects annual sales of over $2 billion by the year 2002.
